Cardano (ADA) founder Charles Hoskinson commented on the future of ADA. Here are the details.
Cardano (ADA) founder Charles Hoskinson reiterated his commitment to ADA’s success in his latest statement regarding the project’s future.
Hoskinson also touched on comparisons with Ethereum and said he clearly wanted Cardano to be the leader.
“Do I even for a moment want Ethereum to be ahead of ADA? No. I want Cardano to win,” Hoskinson said. The founder stated that his own life, brand, and reputation are directly tied to ADA’s success or failure.
Hoskinson, who said that as the founder of ADA, he works every day to grow the project, said, “I wake up every morning and think about how we can make the current situation better.”
Hoskinson also touched on some shortcomings in the past: “We weren’t connected to the developer experience (DevEx), we didn’t have products like smart contracts in the ecosystem. We wrote the languages but didn’t use the tools.”
However, Hoskinson pointed to new projects: “The GlacierDrop project uses Hydra and works with Cardano smart contracts. Midnight is a Cardano native token. This means I have the same experiences and challenges as the developers.”
Hoskinson concluded his speech by discussing the future of Cardano: “If we can’t do it, you can’t either. That’s why we build products.”
