BuyCoin Token (BCT) is the native asset of the BuyCoin ecosystem, a non-custodial digital asset trading platform launched by the BuyCoin team in 2025. The platform operates globally and reports holding a U.S. Money Services Business (MSB) registration. The BCT token serves as the central element connecting trading functions, governance processes, and ecosystem reward mechanisms.
The BuyCoin platform uses a hybrid architecture that combines off-chain order matching with on-chain settlement. According to the project documentation, users retain control of their private keys, and the platform focuses on providing trading infrastructure, settlement tools, and asset-management modules rather than custodial services. BCT has a fixed maximum supply of 333 million tokens. BCT additionally supports governance functions through the BuyCoin DAO system. Token holders may submit and vote on proposals concerning platform adjustments, including listing parameters, fee models, reward allocation rules, and other operational decisions. Governance processes are executed through smart contracts, allowing users to influence the development of the platform and associated services.
Revenue generated from trading fees and ecosystem products is allocated to a reward pool. According to the whitepaper, this pool is distributed to BCT holders who participate in staking, burning, or ecosystem activities. Distribution is calculated based on an “equity value” metric representing user contribution within the system.
The project’s roadmap includes the expansion of trading products, launchpad services, cross-chain bridging, and additional licensing in jurisdictions outside the United States. Future plans also include further development of the payment network and on-chain governance tools.
