
Dan Stiebel, CCIM, SIOR, of Coldwell Banker Commercial Schmidt Realtors, has earned the SIOR industrial/office designation awarded by the Society of Industrial and Office Realtors.
SIOR is the world’s premier commercial real estate organization for industrial and office professionals. Individuals who earn their SIOR designation adhere to the highest levels of accountability and ethical standards. Only the industry’s top professionals qualify for the SIOR designation, to which there are over 4,000 members in more than 50 countries..
To achieve the SIOR designation, Stiebel completed at least five years of creditable experience in the highly specialized field of commercial office real estate; met stringent education requirements; and demonstrated professional ability, competency, ethical conduct, and personal integrity. SIOR enforces a strict code of ethics and required designees to complete its ethics course within their first three years of membership.
Stiebel is an accomplished Commercial Associate Broker with Coldwell Banker Commercial Schmidt Realtors in Traverse City. He earned his B.A. from the University of Michigan and has advanced training in commercial real estate law, market analysis, and investment analysis, further distinguished by his CCIM designation.
Nicholas White, of Petoskey, has been appointed by Gov. Gretchen Whitmer to the state Construction Code Commission. White is a retired architect who holds a Bachelor of Arts in fine art from Ohio Wesleyan University and Bachelor of Science in architecture from the University of Cincinnati.
White is appointed as a member of the public for a term starting Sept. 18, 2025 and expiring Jan. 31, 2028.
White succeeds Justin Schott, whose term has expired.
