
FARGO — The Double Down bar, grill and casino in south Fargo has changed its name to the Double Up.
The change was announced in a recent Facebook post, in which the business alluded to a trademark issue as the reason for the new moniker.
The name change is already reflected in the exterior signage of the business, which is located at 3165 33rd St. S., in Fargo.

Compiled in partnership with market data research firm Plant-A Insights, Newsweek identified America’s Greatest Workplaces by conducting a large-scale employer study based on more than 1.5 million comprehensive company reviews from approximately 250,000 U.S. employees across 78 different sectors, each of whom were surveyed on key factors in employee satisfaction, including compensation and benefits, training and career progression, work-life balance and company culture.
GRAND FORKS — Rhombus Guys Fundraising, a branch of the Grand Forks-based Rhombus Guys brand, is now offering a fundraising program for area schools, nonprofits and organizations. In addition to locally made frozen pizzas, the program offers gourmet popcorn from Carroll’s Corn, meat sticks from L&M Meats, 3 Farm Daughters pasta, and Dakota Dirt Coffee.
“Our mission is simple,” said Jeff Welk, Rhombus Guys fundraising director. “We help schools, youth groups, and non-profits keep more of the money they raise. Each item sold brings in a flat $5 profit, which adds up fast. Some groups have raised over $16,000 in just a few weeks.”
Participants are given free marketing materials, optional online ordering with seller-specific QR codes, and no upfront costs or payment requirements. The program also recently introduced gluten-friendly options and dessert pizzas, expanding its appeal to more supporters.
