A bushfire is burning next to the Kwinana Freeway, causing heavy delays for motorists.
Fire crews are at Royal Perth Golf Club in South Perth and Milyu Nature Reserve in South Perth, which border the freeway.
The blaze was reported about 3pm and is already causing traffic chaos in the area.
Footage shared by Main Roads shows flames on the cusp of the freeway with smoke drifting into the path of motorists.
Main Roads has warned all lanes are affected and traffic is heavy in both directions.
At least one lane has been closed and the speed limit has been reduced to 40km/h.
Motorists are being urged to avoid the area.
