A funicular, a type of cable railway used on steep hills, derailed in the center of Lisbon on Wednesday night, august 14, 2024. The Glória funicular,a popular tourist attraction,was involved in the accident,resulting in the deaths of three British citizens. Authorities are currently investigating the cause of the derailment.
