Kvesic will captain Worcester Warriors until the return of club captain Matt Rogerson, who is expected to be out injured until 2026.

Speaking after the match, head coach Matt Everard said Kvesic’s long-standing connection with the club didn’t inform his decision to name the 33-year-old captain, but it does add an extra element.
“Matt Kvesic is a brilliant bloke, brilliant leader, brilliant player,” Everard told Worcester News.
“Regardless of his previous connection with the club, I want him in my team, I want him to be a part of this club.
“The previous connection is just an added emotional connection for him, the fans and for all of us – it’s amazing.”
