(WJAR) — Day three of the Brian Walshe murder trial gets underway on Wednesday.
The Cohasset man is accused of killing his wife, Ana, on New Year’s Day 2023.
He’s pleaded guilty to dismembering her body and misleading police, but is fighting a first-degree murder charge.
Opening arguments were on Monday, followed by the beginning of testimony in this trial.
On the stand yesterday was Massachusetts State Trooper Nicholas Guarino.
He testified on the disturbing internet search history discovered on devices from the Walshe household- Like his laptop — including Google searches about disposing of a body.
Investigators also scoured trash sites where they tracked Walshe, and for the first time, we are seeing images of what they found.

The Jury also heard recordings of police interviews with Walshe in the days after his wife was reported missing.
