FBI Deputy Director Dan Bongino on Saturday revealed the existence of an ongoing investigation into alleged Deep State activity, stating that the information he has learned during his tenure has left him fundamentally changed.

“During my tenure here as the Deputy Director of the FBI, I have repeatedly relayed to you that things are happening that might not be immediately visible, but they are happening,” Bongino wrote. “What I have learned in the course of our properly predicated and necessary investigations… has shocked me down to my core. We cannot run a Republic like this. I’ll never be the same.”
He added, “We are going to get the answers WE ALL DESERVE… Not ‘my truth,’ or ‘your truth,’ but THE TRUTH.”
His remarks came amid newly declassified materials by Director of National Intelligence Tulsi Gabbard, which claim former President Barack Obama was personally aware the Trump-Russia collusion story was fabricated — and that he played a role in its development.
According to the declassified presidential briefing from December 2016, Obama knew the narrative was a hoax and was involved in politicizing intelligence to initiate the Trump-Russia probe.
The HPSCI oversight report and ODNI press releases — including PR-18-25 and PR-15-25 — allege that former CIA Director John Brennan, alongside Obama-era officials such as James Clapper and James Comey, manipulated intelligence and pushed for a misleading Intelligence Community Assessment (ICA).

The PR-18-25 release states intelligence was “mischaracterized” to support a “contrived false narrative,” and suppress contradictory findings that rendered the ICA’s conclusions “implausible — if not ridiculous.”
