The trust ratings of President Ferdinand ”Bongbong” Marcos Jr. and Vice President Sara Duterte recorded a decline in September 2025, based on the results of a Social Weather Stations (SWS) survey posted on Wednesday.
The survey results, commissioned by think tank Stratbase, showed that Marcos had a ”much trust” rating of 43% for the month of September, a decrease from the 48% in June.
Meanwhile, 36% of respondents said they have “little trust” of the President, and the 21% were still “undecided.”
On the other hand, Duterte’s ”much trust” rating was 53%, while 28% of the respondents have “little trust” of her, and 18% were undecided, polls showed.
The Vice President’s trust rating in June of this year was at 61%.
Palace Press Officer Undersecretary Claire Castro, in reaction to the polls, said that Marcos is working hard to curb corruption in the country.
(We can see that President Marcos Jr. is working hard for the country as well as to end corruption. He is working endlessly to uplift the lives of each Filipino amidst the calamities we are facing.)
The survey was conducted from September 24 to 30, 2025, using face-to-face interviews of 1,500 adults (18 years old and above) nationwide: 300 in Metro Manila, 600 in Balance Luzon (or Luzon outside Metro Manila), and 300 each in the Visayas and Mindanao.
The exact question asked was: For the following, please indicate if your trust/faith in (personality) is very much, somewhat much, undecided if much or little, somewhat little, very little, or you have not heard or read anything about (personality) ever?
The sampling error margins are ±3% for national percentages, ±4% for Balance Luzon, and ±6% each for Metro Manila, Balance Luzon, the Visayas, and Mindanao. — AOL, GMA Integrated News
