BOCA RATON, FLA — The fastest-growing sport in the world is bringing a new destination to play to Boca Raton.
Luxury international padel club, Padel X, is officially opening its doors, giving even more people in our area the chance to try their hand at the popular racquet sport that combines the elements of tennis and squash. It has surged in popularity with more than 25 million players worldwide.
The new club marks the brand’s second U.S. location. It features eight state-of-the-art indoor courts, a pro shop, a lounge, and thoughtfully designed wellness and recovery zones.
The club is hosting a grand opening celebration and tournament on October 25th with a ribbon-cutting ceremony featuring Boca Raton Mayor Scott Singer.
He joined CBS12 News morning anchor Sam Kerrigan at the new facility along with the Padel X co-founders and CEO’s, Nalle Grinda and Juan Pablo Leria.
All three expressed their excitement for the new opportunities Padel X will bring to the city and its residents.
The club, located off Clint Moore Road just west of Congress Avenue, hopes to serve as a hub for wellness, connection, and global sports culture in our area.
A West Palm Beach location is expected to open this winter.
