BNB Chain has released its weekly ecosystem report, highlighting significant metrics and developments from October 23 to 29, 2025. The report provides insights into the latest trends and projects on the blockchain, according to BNB Chain.
During this period, BNB Chain recorded substantial activity across its platforms. The Binance Smart Chain (BSC) saw an average of 2,599,945 daily active users, while opBNB had 2,167,608 users. Total transactions reached 137,763,278 on BSC and 34,826,028 on opBNB. The total trading volume was reported at $106 billion, with a total value locked (TVL) of $14.24 billion as of October 29.
The ecosystem witnessed the launch of several innovative projects. These include ‘On-chain Check-in’, a platform transforming daily blockchain activity into a simple ritual, and ‘DeHub’, an open-source, censorship-resistant streaming protocol. Other notable projects include ‘Good Morning’, focusing on AI and culture, and ‘Upscale’, a Web3 prop-trading platform.
Significant ecosystem updates were also announced. The 33rd quarterly $BNB token burn was completed, with 1.44 million BNB burned on October 27. The $45 million Reload Airdrop has reached its third round, benefiting over 160,000 memecoin traders.
Additionally, the BNB Hack Local Series, in collaboration with YZi Labs, is set to connect builders with mentorship and funding, with its first event in Buenos Aires scheduled for November 15-16. Ondo Finance Global Markets has expanded to BNB Chain, bringing over 100 tokenized U.S. stocks and ETFs on-chain.
The Fourier Hardfork release on the opBNB testnet promises to halve block time from 500ms to 250ms, enhancing transaction speed and network performance. Moreover, the x402 protocol is being introduced for native on-chain payment solutions, transforming HTTP into a payment layer.
BNB Chain is offering an exchange program to improve Mandarin or English skills through a Duolingo Super plan. The Featured Activities Series on Dappbay offers $50K in rewards and over 2 million tokens. Furthermore, the 0 Fee Carnival for USD1 and USDC transactions has been extended until November 30, allowing users to transfer stablecoins without gas fees.
Finally, the launch of the $1B Builder Fund aims to support AI, DeFi, and RWA projects, offering access to capital and BNB Chain’s extensive user base.
