From an art project into a full-fledged onchain entertainment empire
I’m taking a moment to go BIZARRE and offer my most sincere thanks to the incredible community that has made 2025 the most meaningful year of my creative life. You showed up. You voted. You played. You collected. You held. You shared. You went BIZARRE.
Together, we have built something that has exceeded my expectations. This journey officially kicked off with the launch of our Farcaster channel on September 29th, 2024, and since then, we have seen BIZARRE growth.

On December 31st, 2025, BizarreBeasts was awarded the $100,000 Arts3 Foundation’s A3 Startup Award from Decentralized Pictures (DCP).

Decentralized Pictures (DCP) is a 501(c)(3) non-profit co-founded by Roman Coppola, Leo Matchett, and Michael Musante, with support from American Zoetrope, the legendary independent film studio founded by Francis Ford Coppola and George Lucas in 1969. The Coppola family has spent decades championing independent voices and disrupting the studio system; DCP is the Web3 evolution of that mission.
The A3 Startup Award is a $100,000 grant run in partnership between the Arts3 Foundation, CV Summit, and DCP. The award is designed to seed innovative startups building the next generation of decentralized entertainment platforms, tools, and content.
2025 was the year I learned how to build BizarreBeasts games and created the BIZarcade!
Every game features original, hand-drawn BizarreBeasts artwork and animations. Multiple games hit #1 trending on Remix and The Base App.
2025 proved that building with others beats building alone. These BIZARRE partnerships brought new energy, new audiences, and new proof that the BIZARRE universe resonates.
The BIZARRE backbone of our token economy. Empire Builder powered $3,668 in community distributions, 1,897 NFT drops, and enabled seamless cross-empire rewards. This integration transformed how we reward BIZARRE community members for collecting media, holding tokens, engaging with project content, and social sharing.
Our BIZARRE partner for the A3 campaign: 173 participants drove 3,065 engagements across Farcaster and X. ProductClank helped amplify our BIZARRE message when it mattered most.
BizarreBeasts characters became BIZARRE enemies in the Farverse game, Slay-To-Earn. Notorious B.I.Z and the Zombiez: Angus, Hans, Cecil, and Jasper — are now threatened players in the BIZARRE dungeon. BIZARRE gaming meets BIZARRE collaboration.
Two massive collab contests with combined prize pools in $BB, $TYSM, and USDC. The BIZARRE x GRATITUDE and BIZARRE x HOWLERS campaigns showcased our community’s creative power and the incredible power of human connection.
Meme creation challenge that pushed our sticker library to drive community engagement and $BB miniapp users. Creator economies and human connections going BIZARRE simultaneously.
HuntTown ($HUNT)
Launched $BBHT on the Hunt Town Co-Op, gaining 239 backers who directly support BizarreBeasts on-chain. This integration connects us to the Co-Op’s ecosystem and co-promotional efforts, expanding BIZARRE visibility to a new builder-focused audience.
CURA
Powering our recurring $BB token airdrops and community rewards. CURA’s reputation-based distribution system ensured that active, engaged community members were recognized and rewarded for their BIZARRE contributions throughout the year.

The numbers tell the BIZARRE story of a community that showed up:
39 contests. Each one a chance for the community to create, compete, and earn. From meme battles to game competitions, you brought the BIZARRE energy every time.
19,284 BIZARRE ritual completions. Daily engagement that builds BIZARRE habits, BIZARRE streaks, and BIZARRE community bonds. Someone maintained a 45-day streak; that’s BIZARRE dedication.
14,804 coin flips. BizBe’s Daily Coin Toss became a BIZARRE community ritual, with 1,000 players testing their luck and an opportunity to win $BBCP vibe cards or $BB tokens.
In addition to the artwork and written content I created this year, I logged 1,400+ hours of BIZARRE coding with AI in 2025. Self-taught, learning as I shipped BizarreBeasts tech. (Thanks to the BIZARRE community beta testers helping me improve the platform!)
Here’s what that BIZARRE journey looked like:
I didn’t start with coding skills or knowledge of how to build tech onchain. I started with art and a BIZARRE vision that demanded I accelerate the project’s pace and opportunities; the only way to make that happen was to press in on the learning agenda this year, develop new workflows, and expand my skill set as a founding creator.
What an incredible opportunity we have today with technology and resources: a motivated, passionate, and consistent individual can create anything they set their mind to, onchain, on Base! That’s BIZARRE!
2025 proved the BIZARRE model works. Art + games + community + onchain = UNSTOPPABLE.
What’s coming:
The $100K A3 Award funds BizarreBeasts animated content for DCP’s streaming platform, DCP+, which launches this year (2026). BizarreBeasts characters will come to BIZARRE life in ways I’ve only dreamed about. Original BIZARRE stories. Original soundtracks. The BIZARRE universe, animated.
Two more games are in the works, bringing the BIZarcade to 11 BIZARRE games, with additional concepts under development.

I started this year as an artist with a hypothesis. I’m ending it as a funded creator, with proof — of — concept and a community-powered launchpad that made it all possible.
2025 was UNREAL, UNSTOPPABLE, and INCREDIBLY INSPIRING.
I’m the artist and builder behind BizarreBeasts ($BB), creating a universe where art and web3 technology converge. This is where everything I am intersects: an artist captivated by darkly humorous outsider art, a builder who creates games and miniapps, a musician performing original soundtracks, and a true BIZARRE believer in decentralized creativity.
