Bitwise has released its highly anticipated 2026 predictions for Bitcoin (BTC), Ethereum (ETH), Solana (SOL), and the cryptocurrency market.
The final months of 2025 did not unfold as expected for Bitcoin and altcoins. While many analysts anticipated significant increases and new all-time highs, the last three months saw sharp declines.
While bullish expectations are pushed back to 2026, asset management company Bitwise has published its eagerly awaited 2026 predictions for Bitcoin (BTC), Ethereum (ETH), Solana (SOL), and the cryptocurrency market.
At this point, Bitwise summarized its cryptocurrency predictions for 2026 in 10 points and predicted a major bull market in cryptocurrencies in 2026.
The predictions were as follows:
“1. Bitcoin will break its four-year cycle and reach a new all-time high in 2026. At this point, Bitwise believes that Bitcoin’s historical four-year cycle of three years of rise and one year of fall (bear) will no longer be valid. According to the company, 2026 is expected to be a bear year, but it will not be a bear year, but rather a bull year.
2. Bitcoin’s volatility will be lower than Nvidia’s.
3. ETFs will buy more than 100% of the newly released BTC, ETH, and SOL supply.
4. Crypto-related stocks will outperform technology stocks.
5. Polymarket’s open position will reach an all-time high. 6. Stablecoins will be cited as the cause of currency instability in emerging markets.
7. Assets under management in on-chain vaults will double.
8. If the US passes a crypto market structure law, Ethereum and Solana will reach all-time highs.
9. All Ivy League universities’ endowment funds…” Half of them will invest in cryptocurrencies directly or indirectly.
10. The ETF trend will continue in the US, and more than 100 altcoin ETFs will be launched in 2026.”
