Costa Rica, August 28th – Leading cryptocurrency exchange Bitrue has today announced trading and feature support of the WLFI token from the Trump-backed World Liberty Financial.
Following a successful governance vote last month the World Liberty Financial token will become freely transferable and tradable starting September 1st, and Bitrue will be supporting the launch with immediate trading support on USDT and a subsequent USD1 pair. Ahead of trading, users can first register for the Trade and Earn event, with more than 150,000 WLFI set to be distributed including generous rewards for users who invite their friends.
Bitrue has also launched a price prediction campaign, and will also include WLFI in a Launchpool starting August 29th in which 11,500 WLFI will be distributed to users who stake Bitrue Coin BTR, XRP, or USD1 over a three day period.
WLFI is the governance token of the World Liberty Financial organization, a DeFi platform established by Trump family members in response to de-banking difficulties they faced within traditional financial systems. The project has an overall goal of strengthening the power of USD within DeFi protocols, and WLFI specifically allows holders to vote on key project decisions and product directions.
