Ethereum digital asset treasury (DAT) BitMine has added another significant batch of Ether to its staking pool, pushing its total staked holdings past 1.5 million ETH.
According to Lookonchain on Wednesday, BitMine Immersion Technologies (BMNR), chaired by Tom Lee, deposited 186,560 ETH—worth roughly $625 million—into the “Beacon Depositor” address.
This latest addition brings BitMine’s total staked Ether to 1,530,784 ETH, valued at $5.13 billion, representing 4% of the 36 million ETH currently staked on the Beacon Chain.
The company’s stake could grow further, as it holds over 4 million ETH in total, with 37% now committed to staking. The milestone comes just days after BitMine first surpassed 1 million ETH staked.
As of Monday, the firm reported holdings of 4,167,768 ETH, 192 BTC, nearly $1 billion in cash, and a $23 million stake in Eightco Holdings.
Meanwhile, Ethereum’s staking validator entry queue has surged to 2.3 million ETH, marking its highest level since August 2023.

BitMine Stock Jumps in After-Hours Trading
BitMine shares rose 3.8% in after-hours trading on Tuesday, reaching $32.35, according to Google Finance.
The company has started 2026 on a strong note, with its stock up 11.5% year-to-date, mirroring gains across the broader crypto market.
Fundstrat chairman Tom Lee, who also leads BitMine, remains bullish on Ether and the crypto sector following a turbulent end to 2025.
“We continue to see the leverage reset after October 10, 2025, as a ‘mini crypto winter.’ We expect 2026 to be the year crypto prices recover, setting the stage for stronger gains in 2027–2028,” Lee said Monday.
Ether Posts Biggest Daily Gain of 2026
Ether (ETH) has surged 7% in the past 24 hours, marking its largest single-day gain of 2026.
The cryptocurrency reached $3,375 on Coinbase in early Wednesday trading, its highest level since December 10, according to TradingView.
ETH is approaching the upper bands of a two-month sideways range and will need to break resistance above $3,400 to sustain further momentum.
