According to the exchange’s official statement, LINEA will begin trading in KRW, BTC, and USDT pairs on September 11. Deposits for LINEA will become active at 00:00, and trading will become active at 01:00.
The exchange emphasized that LINEA deposits and withdrawals will only be supported via the Linea network. Investors were warned not to use the wrong network, as otherwise transfers could be invalidated and the refund process could take a long time. The contract address was also shared in the official announcement.
Some restrictions will be applied at the beginning of trading: buy orders will be closed during the first 5 minutes after trading opening; a minimum sell price limit will be set, and only limit orders will be accepted during the first 2 hours.
Linea stands out as a Layer-2 blockchain network that offers scalability with zk Rollup technology while maintaining Ethereum’s security and decentralization. It also provides full integration with the Ethereum virtual machine through zkEVM compatibility, allowing developers to use existing smart contracts and tools without any modifications.
Upbit warned users against investment risks, reminding them that digital asset prices may be subject to sudden fluctuations based on global market conditions.
