Binance US has added support for Abstract Chain, a newly launched Ethereum Layer 2 network, enabling U.S. users to deposit and withdraw Ethereum directly—no bridging required. This integration offers faster, cheaper, and more secure transactions, giving users seamless access to the Abstract ecosystem, including its dApps and NFT platforms.
The move aligns with Binance US’s ongoing push to expand Ethereum Layer 2 solutions. Earlier this year, the exchange added support for Base, another growing Layer 2 network, allowing ETH and USDC deposits and withdrawals.
Abstract Chain, created by Igloo Inc.—the team behind the popular Pudgy Penguins NFT collection—launched in January as a consumer-focused Ethereum Layer 2 solution. The project raised $11 million in funding last July from investors including Peter Thiel’s Founders Fund. Using zk-rollups and EigenDA technology, Abstract Chain enables scalable, low-cost transactions, while features like account abstraction and social login simplify onboarding for new crypto users.
This Binance US integration marks another step in Abstract Chain’s growing adoption across major platforms, including Magic Eden for NFTs, Uniswap for decentralized trading, and Seedify for blockchain gaming and launchpad services.
