The Qtum Foundation has announced the official release of Qtum Ally, a groundbreaking desktop AI agent that moves beyond conventional chatbots to deliver true automation and integration.
Unlike cloud-based assistants, Ally runs locally on Windows and Mac, combining privacy, control, and power in a single lightweight application. It supports the Model Context Protocol (MCP), an emerging open standard that allows AI systems to interact seamlessly with tools, data sources, and external services.
With access to 12 leading large language models (LLMs) out of the box, Ally lets users build, customize, and automate complex workflows. Users can even host their own models or deploy MCP servers to extend Ally’s capabilities, all within one simple installation.
