Beyoncé is now a member of the exclusive billionaire club.
Forbes, the business magazine that identifies individuals who cross the billion-dollar threshold, reported the US singer as cracking the list in a new report.
In her reaching billionaire status, Beyonce joins a handful of musicians, including her husband Jay-Z, Taylor Swift, Bruce Springsteen and Rihanna.
“While Queen Bey has expanded her business empire into a handful of celebrity-friendly industries — including a hair care brand (Cécred), a whiskey label (SirDavis), and a clothing line (Ivy Park, discontinued in 2024) – most of her personal wealth comes from her music, by controlling the rights to her enormously valuable catalogue and earning a massive income from her global tours,” Forbes said.
The elevation comes on the heels of the singer’s recently wrapped Cowboy Carter Tour, which ran from the northern spring to the summer of 2025. The tour grossed more than $US400 million ($A598 million) in ticket sales and another $US50 million in merchandise sold at the shows, according to Forbes estimates.
Beyoncé did a special Cowboy Carter half-time show for Netflix’s first Christmas Day NFL game in 2024, collecting an estimated $US50 million, the magazine said.Her 2023 Renaissance World Tour took in nearly $US600 million. Renaissance: A Film by Beyoncé grossed circa $US44 million globally, according to Box Office Mojo.
