SOL trades at $122 at a market cap of $69B, per Coingecko. It’s down 47% in the last 12 months. RSI as are most of the oscillator indicators on TradingView are neutral. And that’s OK for now. It also means sentiment isn’t that great and it could be a bargain for a long-term buy at this price.
Sui flips the script with its object-centric model using Move language.
It’s like combining the Rust language’s safety with parallel execution. No more global state bottlenecks like Ethereum or even Solana.
It shards data so transactions process independently, hitting 297,000 TPS in lab tests late 2025. Why does this matter? It’s like upgrading from a single-lane highway to infinite parallel lanes. No traffic jams during peaks. And remember, sharding is Ethereum’s ultimate goal for scalability. Sui does it already.
The ecosystem’s maturing fast. TVL surged to $850 million, led by Navi Protocol’s lending at $284M. DeepBook, their native aggregator, makes a lot of that volume happen in the background.
In The Sui Stack, Walrus storage enables blob throughput. That’s big blocks of unstructured data. It has led to a 400% increase in AI data. It’s 17 TB worth of data now.

2026 catalysts? Solana bets on Firedancer mainnet (Q2) and Visa stablecoin rollout. Sui’s got Mysticeti consensus live (50x faster finality) and SuiPlay launch (Q3). There’s also a Macro tailwind. Fed cuts are coming, and that means liquidity. Liquidity means capital floods into alts. But Solana’s memecoin dependency? Risky if BTC dominance spikes. And we don’t love how extractive the memecoin system of coin issuance has been using Solana apps.
