
BENTONVILLE — Residents have until mid-July to apply for an open position on a committee that advises city leadership about public art displays.
Bentonville will accept applications to fill a vacancy on the Public Art Advisory Committee until July 11, according to a news release from the city.
The committee serves in an advisory capacity to the mayor, city staff and City Council on matters related to artwork installed on public property. Committee members serve three-year terms.
Ideal candidates are arts professionals, including curators, visual artists, art historians, collectors, fabricators, architects, landscape architects, graphic designers and educators, according to the release.
Applicants must:
Be a registered voter.
Reside within the city limits.
Be available to attend monthly meetings and occasional special meetings.
