The Belo Medical Group has officially launched The Scar Project, which focuses on individuals with scars — and the stories behind them.
“We have been preparing for this for a long time. It’s difficult to treat scars, but it’s even harder if you also carry the pain in your emotions. That’s why we are here — not just to treat, but to accompany you on your healing journey,” Dr. Vicki Belo said at the project’s launch.
Dr. Hayden Kho added, “This is for those who see reminders of the past every day. We want to help them regain their self-confidence.”
Belo is currently looking for seven individuals with scars and stories. They will be given personalized treatment from a team of experts — for inner and outer healing.
Present at the launch were Catriona Gray and Alden Richards, along with Iza Calzado, Donny Pangilinan, Belle Daza, and Bianca Umali.
