BBC Breakfast star issued warning as he gets ‘told off’ live on-air – Daily Star

During Sunday’s (September 28) edition of the popular morning show, presenters Sarah Campbell and Ben Thompson kept viewers up-to-date with the latest news from across the UK and globally.

Joining them in the studio were Adam Wild, who covered the sports segment, and Helen Willetts, who provided regular weather updates.

While discussing the day’s headlines, Ben highlighted a survey suggesting that vegetables aren’t necessary for maintaining good eyesight, with fish fingers and biscuits being touted as suitable alternatives.

“I don’t know where they’ve worked out this science from… It says canned soup, as well, is also surprisingly good for some health conditions,” reports the Express.

Ben expressed his scepticism about the findings, saying, “I thought anything in a tin was probably not that great for you,” to which Sarah cautioned: “Careful”.

Ben clarified: “I’m not a doctor, I should be really clear.”

The conversation then shifted to Hollywood actress Jennifer Aniston, who has revealed that AI-generated replicas of her are so realistic that even her family and close friends have been fooled by the counterfeit videos.

“This is a bit more serious story. I mean, we always talk about AI. Very few days do we go by and not have an AI story,” Sarah noted.

She continued: “We’ve got the lovely Jennifer Aniston. She’s saying now that AI copies of her are so convincing that even her family and close friends contact her to say, ‘I can’t believe you’ve said that’. And she has to say, ‘It wasn’t me.'”

“Her face changes quite a bit though, doesn’t it? So, maybe they’re not really sure,” Ben suggested, to which Sarah responded: “That is true. She is a very attractive lady.”

“Yes, yeah. But I mean, you’re right, AI is very convincing. I’m going to get told off now,” Ben quipped, before Sarah interjected: “I think we’re going to have to move on.”

She added: “Let’s move on to safer territory,” before handing over to Adam, who was poised to present the day’s sports segment.
