After Tornike Shengelia, another player is moving from Virtus Bologna to Barcelona.
It’s the case of Will Clyburn, who officially joined Joan Penarroya’s team and will play in Spain for the first time in his career.
He left Virtus Bologna after only one season.
Despite not being available at the end of the season, he was still one of the protagonists of another victory in the Italian Championship for the black-and-white side.
Conditioned by a long-time severe injury that forced him out of the team’s activities for several months, Will Clyburn still averaged 13.8 points and 4.7 rebounds per game in the EuroLeague.
Clyburn terminated his contract with Virtus Bologna earlier in July, while the talks between the American player and the Catalan team had begun in June.
