TAJUKNASIONAL.COM The controversy regarding the authenticity of the diploma of Joko Widodo (Jokowi), the 7th President of the Republic of Indonesia, resurfaced after the Citizen Lawsuit (CLS) was filed with the Surakarta District Court (PN Solo) by a group of residents and telematics expert Roy Suryo Cs.
However, Pro Jokowi (Projo) volunteers emphasized that Jokowi’s diploma was authentic and its existence could be proven.
Deputy General President of Projo (Waketum), Freddy Damanik, revealed that he and a number of Projo administrators were given the opportunity directly by Jokowi to see the diploma.
This was conveyed by Freddy after visiting Jokowi’s house in Sumber, Banjarsari, Solo, Friday (10/24).
I was given a look earlier. Actually, diploma, I’ll just ask Mas Roy. Yes, I saw it, what was said earlier, that’s what’s important, said Freddy.

Freddy’s statement was also confirmed by Projo General President Budi Arie Setiadi, who was also present at the meeting. He said President Jokowi had repeatedly emphasized that his diploma was authentic and legally valid.
Yes, so indeed, there were discussions on this issue of the diploma, Mr. Jokowi confirmed that the diploma does indeed exist. “You can see it, and we were shown earlier that Pak Jokowi’s diploma is there,” Freddy continued emphasizing.
Furthermore, Freddy said that Jokowi also showed his diploma to the chancellor of Gadjah Mada University (UGM) and the dean of the Faculty of Forestry, where Jokowi studied as an undergraduate.
This also rejects various accusations that Jokowi’s diploma was lost or even burned.
“So it’s not just about dispelling all the rumors and doubts that Pak Jokowi’s diploma was lost, burned,” said Freddy.

Freddy stressed that the diploma really existed, that it was officially issued by UGM and that it was still kept by Jokowi himself.
Yes, always yes. I saw it. “I saw it, it’s real,” Freddy said.
Even though Projo’s statement clarified the existence of President Jokowi’s diploma, the controversy in the public sphere continues.
The CLS’s lawsuit against Jokowi’s diploma in the Solo District Court is seen as a form of unrest among some people who want transparency from public officials.
However, for supporters, this move is considered unimportant because the validation of Jokowi’s diploma was carried out by official educational institutions and the state.
With this clarification from Projo, it is hoped that the issue surrounding Jokowi’s diploma will soon subside and the public’s attention will be brought back to development programs and government policies.
