Assam Women’s University Jorhat is inviting applications from eligible candidates for recruitment to the posts or career of Teaching Associate (Contractual) in the Department of
Education, Economics & Commerce in 2026.
a. Masters Degree in relevant subject with atleast 55% marks or equivalent grade
point.
b. Besides fulfilling the above qualification, the candidates must have cleared the National Eligibility Test (NET) conducted by the UGC or similar test accredited by the UGC like SLET/SET or awarded Ph.D in the concerned subject.
A MCOM /MBA degree in Accounting and Finance with at least 55% of the marks or its equivalent CGPA scale, along with minimum of five (05) years of experience of financial administration/management in university or other government/PSU units.
Pay Scale : Rs.30,000/- 1,10,000/- Plus GP Rs. 15,700 + Other allowances
For the post of Teaching Associate, candidates may appear for walk-in-interviews on 26th February 2026. Venue is in Assam Women’s University, Jorhat-785004, Assam. Reporting time is 1 pm. Time of interview is from 1.30 PM onwards. Candidates may appear for the interview with an application in Standard Form along with self-attested photocopies of all qualifications, Certificates, Marksheets, Age, PRC/Domicile Certificate and other testimonials with contact number . All original documents must be brought for verification on the day of interview. .
