Arsenal finished the weekend with a four-point advantage over both Manchester City and Aston Villa. The decisive goal came from Manchester United substitute Matheus Cunha, who scored in the 87th minute, securing United’s first league victory at Arsenal since September 3, 2017.
“We have to show that mental strength,” Arteta said after the match, as reported by ESPN. “We have to handle that pressure and disappointment and learn from it.”
The result puts increased pressure on Arsenal as they continue their pursuit of their first Premier League title since 2004.
