An organisation that describes itself as a “Crypto Anarchist Art Collective” claims it’ll hide gold bars in Douglas city centre this week as it hosts an art show.
Crypsi says the event will take place in the former Hops pub on Castle Street in Douglas from Wednesday, February 11 until Saturday, February 14.
On Twitter, it says the cryptoart exhibition will cover the last decade, and claims it’ll place 21 gold bars nearby which can be traded for merchandise.
Its website says the US-based collective is made up of artists, early adopters, believers and campaigners for bitcoin.
