An Apple MacBook has plummeted in price by more than £250, but stock is running low. The deal is available at Wowcher, where there’s now £271 off an Apple MacBook Pro.

The device is on offer for £429, a huge drop from the original £700 price tag at HCI Distribution Ltd. This particular deal is for the 13.3″ MacBook Pro, which Apple released in 2020.

A key thing to note is that these are refurbished laptops, with the final price dependent on their condition – either ‘good’ or ‘excellent’. Wowcher says that ‘good’ models show ‘visible’ cosmetic signs of wear, while ‘excellent’ models are ‘near new’.

It adds that each laptop has been ‘expertly refurbished and inspected’ to ensure full functionality. Despite not being the latest models, each MacBook Pro in the Wowcher deal supports Apple’s latest macOS software, but this could end sometime during 2027.

Wowcher’s deal undercuts rival retailers like Back Market, where the same 13″ MacBook Pro (2020) starts at £513. For those who prefer to have the most recent models, Sky Mobile provides a more affordable alternative to buying outright.

The retailer lets customers spread the cost of their gadgets over time, with the 13″ MacBook Air M4 (2025) and 14″ MacBook Pro M5 (2025) costing £22 and £35 respectively. Just remember these are on 48-month contracts, with the option to upgrade after 36 months.

For those sticking with Wowcher, the deals site has earned a 4.1-star Trustpilot rating after more than 138,000 reviews. One says: “Great deal on MacBook and very easy to use. Happy with price.”

Another says: “Purchased a refurbished MacBook Pro at an unbeatably reduced price. As a MacBook user for over a decade and I am impressed with the quality of the product – as good as new.”

This customer deducted a star as they ‘didn’t understand’ the order process, saying: “I didn’t understand how to use the voucher and when I did paste it into the browser, it wasn’t accepted. I didn’t know whether it was required for the purchase or for another time. However, I had five-star service, and I look forward to receiving the MacBook without any further problems.”

While this glowing review says: “Very easy, quick and simple purchase. Got an Apple MacBook Pro for an amazing price and a quick delivery. So happy.”
