The France Chapter of the All Progressives Congress (APC) has endorsed the re-election of President Bola Ahmed Tinubu and Vice President Kashim Shettima in the 2027 general election, pledging active support from Nigerians in the diaspora.
In a statement signed by chapter chairperson Hajia Amina Suzuki, the group praised the administration for navigating Nigeria through complex economic challenges. It described Tinubu’s leadership as “courageous and reform-driven,” pointing to tangible results in stabilising public finances, reviving the oil and gas sector, boosting investment inflows, and restoring global confidence in Nigeria’s economy.
Suzuki said the bold economic reforms under the Renewed Hope Agenda have laid a firm foundation for sustainable growth, national recovery, and inclusive development.
“As Nigerians in the diaspora, we monitor global economic indicators closely. The nation’s economic narrative is improving. The resilience of this administration, coupled with its commitment to infrastructure, social investment, security, and youth empowerment, demonstrates purposeful governance,” the statement read.
She also commended Vice President Shettima for his steadfast support and strategic coordination in implementing government policies, noting that their leadership reflects competence, vision, and the political will to transform Nigeria into a stronger, more competitive nation.
The APC France Chapter pledged to mobilise massive support ahead of the 2027 elections, promising to return home to engage in grassroots mobilisation, voter education, and strategic political advocacy to ensure a resounding victory.
“Nigeria is on a journey of renewal. This is not the time to retreat; it is the time to consolidate progress. Continuity in leadership will guarantee stability, deepen reforms, and secure gains already recorded. We call on all Nigerians, at home and abroad, to rally behind President Tinubu and Vice President Shettima to sustain the momentum of national transformation,” the chapter concluded.
