The controversial influencer is set to make his Misfits Boxing debut on Saturday night, and is set to be rewarded handsomely for his efforts in the ring
Andrew Tate and Chase DeMoor will clash for the Misfits heavyweight title in Dubai just five days before Christmas.
DeMoor – the former Too Hot to Handle star – is set for his seventh fight this year. Having won the coveted gold strap in November 2024, the 29-year-old has gone on to successfully defend the title twice. That said, his dust-up with Tate is arguably his toughest challenge yet.
The ‘Cobra’ is a former kickboxing world champion, but was forced to cut his career short due to injuries. Over the last few years, the controversial influencer has hinted at a return to action, posting several training clips to his millions of followers on social media. Tate, 39, is seemingly set for life financially due to his glittering business portfolio and investments – but a return to combat sports will only see him increase his net worth.
While an official figure regarding Tate’s purse for his fight with the reigning heavyweight champion has yet to be revealed, the 39-year-old looks set to take home millions from the Dubai dust-up.
It’s fair to say the Misfits CEO lives a rather lavish life, and is accustomed to showing off his luxurious cars, his high-priced valuables and his property empire. According to Celebrity Net Worth, Tate – who still faces criminal charges, including for rape in the UK, which he denies – has an estimated net worth of $20million.
Last year, when speaking on Andrew Pompliano’s crypto-centric podcast, the ‘Cobra’ claimed that he turned $600,000 (£449,000) into $12m (£8.9m) by investing in Bitcoin. In the same year revealed to his followers that he made over $85m (£63.6m) by trading on PancakeSwap.
With Tate looking to make big waves in the world of Misfits, he will be aiming to push on with a win against DeMoor. “It’s fantastic to have a singular focus in life. I am very blessed by God to be able to take an opportunity like this and do it in front of so many people, so I am very thankful and I am very much looking forward to the night. I cannot wait,” he said ahead of fight night.
He added: “Fighters fight. My whole life I different styles. I fought MMA, I fought Muay Thai, kickboxing, K1. You take the rules, you take the money on the day back in my fight career. I have always been a puncher, so I am very much looking forward to it. In fact, I have actually enjoyed this boxing camp more than a kickboxing camp. I have not hurt my knees, my ankles and all that kinds of things. I am excited for it. The camp has been fantastic. The camp went so much better than I could have imagined. If I could have seen the camp in advance before I did it, I would have been so pleasantly surprised. Camp has been fantastic and I feel amazing.”
