Amber International Allocates Fresh Capital to Expand Crypto Reserve and Support Web3 Innovation
Amber International has raised $25.5 million in new funding, which will be used to bolster its existing $100 million Crypto Ecosystem Reserve. The company disclosed the details in a recent filing with the U.S. Securities and Exchange Commission (SEC).
Institutional investors participating in the round included CMAG Funds, Mile Green, Pantera Capital, Choco Up, and Kingkey Financial International. Shares were offered at $10.45 per American Depositary Share (ADS), representing a 5% discount to the three-day Nasdaq volume-weighted average price ending June 27, 2025. The placement involved the issuance of 12,200,915 Class A ordinary shares, equivalent to 2,440,183 ADSs.
Operating under the brand Amber Premium, Amber International offers crypto financial services and infrastructure solutions tailored to institutions and high-net-worth individuals. Its platform spans centralized finance (CeFi), decentralized finance (DeFi), and over-the-counter (OTC) markets.
The company stated that the new capital will be directed toward further building its Crypto Ecosystem Reserve, which is aimed at driving long-term ecosystem alignment and accelerating product innovation. Since the strategy was announced earlier this year, the reserve has been used to invest in key digital assets including bitcoin (BTC), ethereum (ETH), and solana (SOL).
Amber also confirmed it has begun deploying funds into other major tokens such as binance coin (BNB), XRP, and sui token (SUI). The reserve is intended to support projects across these blockchain networks and facilitate the development of institutional-grade crypto products.
As part of its forward-looking strategy, Amber aims to position itself at the cutting edge of blockchain development, with a focus on emerging areas like real-world assets (RWA) and AgentFi—key pillars in the evolving Web3 financial infrastructure.
Amber International is a subsidiary of Amber Group and leverages proprietary blockchain technologies, AI-powered risk management systems, and quantitative trading algorithms to deliver its services.
