Alan Ritchson has shared a photo from Reacher season 4, claiming to have filmed the “best fight ever” as production on the upcoming episodes continues. Reacher season 4 is currently filming, with the story pulled from the pages of Lee Child’s thirteenth novel in the Jack Reacher series, titled Gone Tomorrow. The upcoming season will have plenty of high-octane action.
Now, Ritchson has released a behind-the-scenes photo from Reacher season 4, showing himself as the titular character in black-and-white, looking grizzled and serious. The actor claims the image comes from the “best fight ever” for the season, though also says every fight they’ve filmed so far has been better than the last. Check out the new image below:
What Reacher’s New Fight Scene Image Says About Season 4
The image indicates Reacher is going to be in a much different place mentally than he’s been in previous seasons. His more pronounced facial hair and the way he holds himself signals the seriousness of the fight he’s in. Based on the men in suits behind him, it’s possible he’s disrupting a formal gathering with his appearance.
Given what Ritchson is teasing, it seems like his bout with villainous characters in Reacher season 4 will be some of the most intense yet. Gone Tomorrow itself has its protagonist in a lone wolf mindset, investigating a mysterious death that, once again, has ties to a larger conspiracy. This includes adversaries willing to do anything to preserve their power.
Much like other books in the series, the thirteenth installment is full of action-packed events, with this scene being teased just one of many that will happen across the series. Even though Reacher season 3 ended with a memorable, lengthy battle between him and giant bodyguard Paulie, Ritchson’s character will still have his work cut out for him this time.
