WWE SmackDown has not gotten off to the smoothest start this week, as after Rhea Ripley, another WWE Superstar has been forced to step in to replaced a name on the show. This comes after the star sent a message, informing fans about what happened and why they could not be at the show.
Cathy Kelley sent a message to fans on social media ahead of SmackDown.
Cathy Kelley has not been too happy about Rhea Ripley and IYO SKY’s friendship, jealous of the fact that Mami has appeared closer and closer with SKY. She sent a message ahead of SmackDown saying that she was tagging in Byron Saxton, with the star forced to replace her on the show as the one conducting interviews instead. She revealed that she was gone from the company today filming a pilot for a show.
The star went on to say that she would see everyone on Sunday, and included IYO SKY among those stars. She will be disappointed to know that it’s not SKY she will be missing on SmackDown tonight, but Rhea Ripley instead.

Ripley was forced to step in to replace IYO SKY tonight on the show. The reason for the latter’s absence was not explained, but she had been advertised for a match earlier. Now it seems that she can’t compete tonight. Hopefully the reason is not too serious, and she will be fit to compete at a later time.
Meanwhile, Ripley will be taking up her place on the show, and the RAW star’s presence on SmackDown will be more than welcome among fans, given her popularity.
