AC/DC: Power Up Australian tour set list revealed after opening in MelbourneKellie BalaamPerthNowThu, 13 November 2025 12:38PMCommentsCommentsEmail Kellie Balaam

Perth AC/DC fans are in for a treat with the band’s set list revealed after kicking off their Australian tour in Melbourne on Wednesday night.

The legendary rockers electrified the MCG, filled with tens of thousands of die-hard fans ready to rock ‘n’ roll to their favourite songs.

Opening their concert with If You Want Blood (You’ve Got It), the first half of the show went much like the rest of the other concerts on the global Power Up tour.

However, things took a different turn when the band launched into the song Jailbreak, which they played for the first time since 1991.

In fact, AC/DC performed so loudly that the concert registered on earthquake detection equipment at the Seismology Research Centre in Richmond — 3.5km from the MCG.

SRC chief scientist Adam Pascale told the ABC a combination of vibrations from the venue’s speakers and crowd movement created the low-frequency activity.

Before the concert got underway, Melbourne bagpipers made history in Federation Square after breaking the world record for the largest ever bagpipe ensemble.

Onlookers witnessed 374 bagpipers play along to AC/DC’s It’s a Long Way to the Top (If You Wanna Rock ‘n’ Roll).

The previous record was held by 333 bagpipers, who gathered at Sofia, Bulgaria in May 2012.

AC/DC will arrive in WA next month where they will rock out to more than 60,000 fans at Optus Stadium on December 4 and December 8.

The Power Up tour started in Europe last year, selling more than two million tickets for 24 shows there and then sold-out shows across North America.
