Roadworks on two A487 roundabouts near Bangor will divert drivers over the A55 Britannia Bridge for five nights. Ten days of resurfacing work is due to start on the Parc Menai and Treborth roundabouts, Gwynedd on Monday, September 22.
All work will take place between 7pm and 6am, with the scheme split in two.
The first part is for five nights between September 22-27. This will see an A55 lane being closed between Britannia Bridge and Penrhos overbridge.
Entry and exit slip roads from Treborth interchange will also be closed to and from the eastbound A55 carriageway at Junction 9. Traffic will be asked to divert via the A55 and A4087, returning via the Tesco Extra roundabout.
The scheme’s second stage is from Monday night, September 29, until Saturday morning, October 4. The closures are a mirror image of the first, with an A55 lane being closed between Junction 10 and Britannia Bridge.
