Get ready to see Downtown Tuscaloosa come alive with witches on wheels. The Arc of Tuscaloosa County is hosting its 8th Annual T-Town Witches Ride on Sunday, October 25, from 4 p.m. to 630 p.m. at Parker-Haun Park, located at 180 Greensboro Ave, Tuscaloosa, AL 35401.
According to the press release, “The T-Town Witches Ride brings the community together for an evening of fun and philanthropy. Participants, dressed as witches, ride bicycles through downtown streets while raising awareness and funds for The Arc’s mission of promoting inclusion and independence.”
The family-friendly celebration will feature live entertainment, awards, and a free kids’ zone full of activities. Community members are invited to dress in costume, line the streets, and cheer on the riders as they roll through downtown.
“We are always amazed by the enthusiasm our community shows for this event,” said Delshonda Thomas, Executive Director of The Arc of Tuscaloosa County. “Each year, the Witches Ride grows, helping us continue to provide critical services and opportunities for individuals we support.”
Proceeds from this spirited Halloween event benefit The Arc of Tuscaloosa County, helping fund programs and services that empower individuals with intellectual and developmental disabilities.
