
A North Fort Myers man was arrested on Monday after deputies said a tip led to the discovery of child pornography in his possession.According to the Lee County Sheriff’s Office, Internet Crimes Against Children detectives received a tip from the National Center for Missing and Exploited Children. The tip alerted investigators about an IP address possessing child pornography in North Fort Myers.Detectives identified the subscriber as 75-year-old Michael Hale, who lived in the 200 block of Park Lane Circle.The sheriff’s office said Hale admitted that he had been collecting the footage since the 1990s.
