Gunda Rachut, chairperson of Germanyâs central agency packaging register ZSVR (Osnabrück; http://www.verpackungsregister.org), Bettina Rechenberg from the federal environment agency UBA (www.umweltbundesamt.de), Fritz Flanderka from Reclay (Herborn; http://www.reclay-group.com), and bvse vice-president Herbert Snell will discuss the opportunities and challenges of the regulatory requirements, moderated by Martin Engelmann from IK (Bad Homburg; http://www.kunststoffverpackungen.de).

In the afternoon, the programme will be divided into two parallel workshops â” while one will focus on Poland as a partner country and offer insights into market structures, legal frameworks, and cross-border challenges there, the other, led by Dirk Textor, will examine topics related to quantities, markets, and prices in plastics recycling.
