OKLAHOMA CITY (KOKH) — Two people have been arrested in Oklahoma County concerning a case involving rape and lewd acts with a minor.
The Harrah Police Department says that an arrest warrant and a search warrant were served Tuesday in Harrah and in rural Lincoln County.
Dillon Lynn Ford, 31, was arrested on an Oklahoma County warrant and faces charges of first-degree rape, rape by instrumentation, forcible sodomy, lewd acts to a child under 16, and manufacturing child sexual abuse material. He was booked into the Oklahoma County Detention Facility on a $500,000 bond.
Debra Sue Scharabok, 31, was arrested and faces charges of enabling child sexual assault and enabling child sexual exploitation. She was taken to the Oklahoma County Detention Facility and held on a $100,000 bond.
Police say the arrests originated from a complaint filed with the HPD regarding criminal sexual acts involving a minor. The investigation led to the search and arrest warrants for Ford, who was arrested Tuesday morning after leaving his home in Harrah. He was carrying a 9mm pistol at the time.
Following Ford’s arrest, investigators served the first search warrant at Ford’s residence. Debra Scharabok, two of her children, ages 1 and 4, and one adult male were in the home at the time.
The HPD says officers and agents found horrendous living conditions within the residence. Spoiled food, dirty dishes, roaches in the beds, walls, and cabinets, and animal feces covered the floors and carpets. The Department of Human Services was called in, and five juveniles were removed from the residence for the unsanitary conditions and were put into protective custody.
A search warrant was also served in rural Lincoln County, north of McLoud, on a travel trailer connected to the investigation.
Following the service of search warrants and based on the interviews conducted, Harrah Police arrested Sharabok on probable cause for enabling child sexual assault and enabling child sexual exploitation.
This is an ongoing investigation, and police expect more charges to be forthcoming.
