The instant redemption facility is designed for institutional use on Solana. It allows supported tokenized assets to be redeemed for stablecoins without waiting for issuer windows. Redemptions are available 24 hours a day, including weekends and holidays.
This structure removes delays that often last several days. Many digital funds only allow payouts at fixed intervals. The new system offers a continuous exit option, which aligns better with onchain settlement speeds and trading activity.
Metalayer Ventures manages the capital pool used for payouts. Multiliquid provides pricing, compliance checks, and settlement through smart contracts. Together, the firms aim to reduce liquidity hurdles across private credit, real estate, and alternative investment products.
The facility operates through a discount to net asset value. The pool buys approved digital assets below their stated NAV. The discount pays liquidity providers for offering immediate access to stablecoins.
This approach resembles repurchase agreement markets in traditional finance. In those markets, assets are sold at a discount to secure short-term liquidity. The same principle is applied onchain, but settlement occurs through smart contracts.
