💎Presearch Sells Out Inaugural Node NFT Auction in One Day

Thanks to our incredible community, Presearch’s inaugural Node NFT Auction sold out in under 24 hours, with all 142 node licenses clearing at more than twice the reserve price.

The auction, which set a total reserve of just over 2 million PRE, ultimately closed at over 4 million PRE, signaling strong demand for community-owned infrastructure powering Presearch’s next-generation decentralized search network. We’re super confident that if we had kept the auction open longer, the bids would have kept pumping.

Each Node NFT functions as both a unique 1/1 artwork and a license to operate a Presearch node, granting holders the ability to activate nodes and earn network rewards once Presearch’s new orchestration layer goes live in the coming weeks (January 13th, 2026 ETA). The NFTs mark the first step in scaling Presearch’s decentralized crawling and indexing infrastructure as search volume and monetization expand.

The node sale represents just the first phase of a broader rollout of our upgraded decentralized infrastructure, Presearch 3.0, designed to support what the team calls Frontier Intelligence: high-value, underrepresented content often overlooked by mainstream search engines. Future node auctions will be released in batches as they scale the index and demand grows, reinforcing PRE’s utility and strengthening long-term tokenomics by yet another method of returning tokens to the treasury or locking them up.

The inaugural collection, Wasteland Web, was created by digital artist Smokenmirrors and features 142 unique pieces depicting a post-algorithmic internet. Unlike traditional art drops, each NFT doubles as an operational key within Presearch’s new Node Orchestration layer, a core component of Presearch 3.0.
